hi,

I recently istalled mambo in my root/mambo
now I want to move it to root directory

any one else experienced on this? any idea to move?

admin

You will need to upload the files into the proper directory, use the Online FTP File Manager to move the files to the correct directory, or use the Contact Form to request this to be done for you.

Thank you,

once moved, you will then have to edit the configuration.php and change the entry for

$mosConfig_live_site = 'http://www.toxicorange.co.uk/hire';; to the new folder manually (10th line)

as you cannot do so from the admin panel.

Cheers.

thanks toxicorange, admin

with the way you described site perfectly works at new directory
but the "site backup" of bigape (www.bigape.co.uk)

thats corrupted and not works now. even I uninstall and reinstall site backup I could not solve

a) do you have any idea for this?
b) do you know any other complete (site itself and mysql database) backup solution for mambo

thanks again..

just out of interest, does the original version point to the same location as the previous mambo install?
