So, I created the same Database name, user, and pass, after you guys dropped the database, as in my PhpBB config.php to try to connect to MySQL to get the forum up.

I'm getting this error;
SQL Error : 1146 Table 'forum2.phpbb_config' doesn't exist

I'm wondering what the best route of restoring this DB Table is.

  • What settings / parameters should I set for the Table? Does the Name matter, how many Fields, what Length and Collation?

  • Do I have to put back in those two PhpBB install files and run them again so they set up the Table?

  • Were user settings in the dropped Table?

  • Should I even try to manually rewrite a PhpBB Table, or were there specific settings etc. in it?

I'm getting a few MySQL errors connecting to my forums -

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Lost connection to MySQL server during query in /fpgs/fpgshttpd/thebub/forums/AzNWarClan/db/mysql4.php on line 48

Warning: mysql_error(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /fpgs/fpgshttpd/thebub/forums/AzNWarClan/db/mysql4.php on line 330

Warning: mysql_errno(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /fpgs/fpgshttpd/thebub/forums/AzNWarClan/db/mysql4.php on line 331
phpBB : Critical Error

Could not connect to the database

This just happened for the first time today and I'm pretty sure it's server side issue with freepgs. Other files in my db, not using MySQL, load fine. Plus, the forum data is all there and not been changed.  I'm wondering if something is down on the freepgs side?
