are they down ??
i have a website
and none of the database work, my forum says it cant connect to the database...
and i can not login in to Manage the data base (MG link).
i need help, please, the forum is visited everyday.

I have another account with freepgs, and apparently the database on that on does not work as well.
so i may not be the only one with the problem.
My database is down as well. Well, not really down, but somehow I can't login using the username and password that I created.
Is there a glitch? I don't want to lose my data :(

Yeah I think its effecting all of us.
Some parts of the FREEPGS site that use databases are not working or are displaying error messages as well.
I REALLY hope they fix this fast as my site is useless without the databases... all my web content is in them!
me too... can't login the mysql datebase with phpmyadmin.....
Same here.. the 3 sites I have on the mysql5 server are down, my other website using localhost is up.
I'm also using localhost for my databases and it seems to be working fine right now, so I guess it's a glitch with mysql5

that's right, my datebase is mysql5.... i think the server is down or error....
Based on the error I read in another post, it would seem that somebody was opening too many connections to the mysql server and that this entire host is blocked now. Can anybody with a remote management script verify this?
Mysql 5 server's status is returning as "Error!" I don't have access directly to the server to fix it, however, so you'll have to wait for admin to log on to fix it.
Note: The "localhost" server is still up, if you have databases on that server, they aren't affected.

Thanks Ben for the email. I hope he admins get on line soon and repair the databases this is kind of serious as allot of us cannot access our sites...
