Email goes down every day!

Hi,
I have several domain accounts hosted on the plesk server and almost every day the email goes down for up to 2 days at a time. Error is 'Cannot Connect to the Mail Server'. Before now the webmail continued to work while the pop mail was down but even the webmail won't work now.

Is this happening on all accounts or just my accounts???

My mail is extremely important to me so please help!?

i use the same system and i never have problems.

i only ever use webmail tho.

I am having the same problem...

Mailserver set to mail.mydomain.com but get the following error in Thunderbird:

"An error occurred with the POP3 mail server. Mail server mail.mydomain.com responded:"

I Cannot get into webmail.mydomain.com either...  :(
Is anyone able to help with this...? Administrators???

I'm glad to know I am not the only one having issues. 

In my case though none of the email forwards work either.  Mail sent to my email forwarders never make it anywhere.  They don't get through to their forwarded destination nor do they get bounced back to the sender.  I started an inquiry about it using the help form, and on Monday night they said they restarted the plesk server services, but still no mail is getting through.

My forwards don't get through either. My mail came back online just before 2am this morning (Ireland time) and as usual all the pop mail was sent and received at that time, some of them almost 2 days after they were actually sent. Webmail was usually my life-saver when this happened but it failed on me this time. No mail came into webmail and when trying to send I got an SMTP error.

www.fieldmetrix.net

this is slightly on the same subject.

when my mail was moved from the old plesk server to the new one (at least i think that's the cause), all my filters and settings didn't go with the mail.

is there a way to get this back?

You will most likely need to recreate these settings.  (The Plesk migration service must not capture webmail settings)

Well... I have just received all my expected email through my domain...
Not sure if ther was administrator intervention or if it was an Internet miracle..  ;)

Either way... The prolem seems fixed...  ;D
