Can I use php nuke?  I signed up for the one plan.  How would I go about this?  Just copy my php nuke site from my system to this one?

I created a mysql database (had to name it something other than nuke, said name was already taken) then ran the nuke.sql file to create the tables.  What else would I have to do?

Ben

PHP nuke should have come with a readme or something simliar.

Basically, upload the files, and run nuke.sql on your database via PHPmyadmin. Edit config.php for the settings.
Then you should be able to just view the main page and it should give instructions.

I created a mysql database using freepgs.com's service, uploaded all the files from my old site to this one.  I configured the config.php file to match my settings.

If you goto http://www.freepgs.com/jmargel/index.php  you'll get an error message '

Php Nuke

There seems to be a problem with the MySQL server, sorry for the inconvenience.

We should be back shortly.'

I can go into http://www.freepgs.com/jmargel/phpMyAdmin/index.php and login and see the database.  I noticed from there I can't make one, says I don't have the privilage.  I can query & view the database.

What else do I need to do, to make this work?

admin

You need to import the nuke.sql file into your database if you have not done so already.

To do this, login to phpMyAdmin, click the "SQL" button (or tab if you have the database loaded), then click the "Browse" button below the Query Window.  Find the nuke.sql file on your local computer and click "Go"

If you have trouble doing this, you can also use the Contact Form to request this file to be imported into your database.
(Please tell us where the file is and the name of the database you need the file imported to)

Thank you,
FreePgs.com Admin

I'm sorry.. I did do this.  The file was called nuke.sql  Once I created the DB I went into the SQL, did a browse and it created the tables (I can confirm this by looking at the database).

Here is a copy of my config.php file.. I created the database with the name 'wownuke'.

Fixed it.. Had to change

$dbhost = "mysql";

to

$dbhost = "system.freepgs.com";

Ben

For mysql host, you should use "localhost" to access a freepgs database. There's nothing wrong with how you're doing it now, but that may not work in the future.
