page not found

How did you get http://freepgs.com/ledbetter/wordpress/ to redirect to ledbetter.freepgs.com automatically?

When I found out that the freepgs.com/.../ urls were no longer supported, I contacted the freepgs admin. They set up the new subdomain and the redirect.

However, I had to manually edit my MySQL database before I was able to login to my wordpress blog Free Web Hosting Reviewed.

When I asked the freepgs admin to give me back my original URL http://freepgs.com/ledbetter (and therefore http://freepgs.com/ledbetter/wordpress too), they replied:

We cannot keep this URL active for you.

    My advertisers and affiliate accounts (to mention a few) expect exact URLs. This change to a subdomain means I have to change my URL(s) in all those advertising accounts or I will not get credit for clicks etc.

    This change to subdomains looks like it will cost me a lot of work.

    I would prefer that my URL remain http://www.freepgs.com/ledbetter/

I think you will find that your new subdomains (your new urls) have a Google Pagerank of 0 (PR0). You can check your pageranks here: http://www.netgets.com/scripts/pagerank.html

Cool my page rank is 3! Considering I'm just developing my site and it currently does absolutely nothing, that's cool! But.. what is a page rank for?


Also, what i sthe problem you're haviing I don't understand anymore.
