You might also try using the contact form. I think the admin will be able to change it for you.

&amp; will only work if you put it in an <a href> or <img src> or some HTML tag, if you're just typing in the URL you need to leave amp; out because that is an HTML entity that the browser translates on the page for you.

Actually, both drives have failed now, so I hope that you have a recent backup. If so, you can make a new database, it will be created on the "localhost" server. Then just import your backed up data.

As of now, there's not really anything that can be done until a replacement drive comes in, so it would appear we're all at the mercy of FedEx (or whatever shipping company that admin happens to be using)

As far as I'm aware, freepgs doesn't do ANY backups of user data, and in the past they've made it very clear that it is up to each individual user to backup any important files or databases.

That being said, the RAID array is running in degraded mode because of the failed drive, so all hope isn't entirely lost, but if you can't see part of the data perhaps you should be looking for a backup and backing up what is left of it?

It seems like admin was saying something about this before. If I recall, they stopped doing that because a LARGE amount of the emails were bouncing back. Now that the accounts are paid though I would assume a larger portion of the addresses are valid. There is still the problem of this server being blacklisted and the fact that if the server is down you can't access the user database...on the server.

Use the contact form and ask the admin to set it up for you again.

Hmmm, I'd check the permissions on the file and change the account password if you haven't already.

Is anything included after footer in the index file?

It would seem that you are, it doesn't just appear ;)

Can you post the code around that area of your PHP file?

Maybe it was down. In any case it seems to be working properly for me now.
#42
You should try using the PHP CURL functions if you're not already.
#43
Sure, no problem.
#44
If you want a different error page for each one you'll need to put it in the root folder of each domain.

That's great news, and unfortunately freepgs doesn't provide backups of user files so if the users hadn't backed up their data it was gone.
