Support Requests / New domain in plesk?
April 20, 2006, 02:57:47 AM
I want to add a new domain to my current website. I have a dual freepgs/plesk website since I need some options only available on plesk. I would like to know how I can add a new domain in the same type of setup as www2.bbscience.org or if you guys have to, the domain is zafh.com.

I tried to edit my plesk account and it gave me this message. Is it from the switch, and do I just need to wait it out?

Support Requests / Emergency!

I was just editing a file on my server (http://www2.bbscience.org/cgi-bin/nph-proxy.cgi) and I went to check on it. I found that it displayed a blank page, so I got rid of the changes (just adding an iframe) and I saved. Same problem. Its hosted on plesk if that helps. Is there a different perl route than #!/usr/bin/perl that I need to use for it?

Support Requests / Errors, looking for help
March 03, 2006, 02:36:56 AM
I am trying to install CGIProxy and PHProxy onto my account, however I am recieving a bunch of errors or it just doesnt work. Can anyone shed some light on my situation? All permissions are set correctly, and the files work on my other server. CGIProxy has the correct perl route (based on the FAQ thread).

Support Requests / Will this be allowed?

Hello. I am the owner of BBScience.org, a website based around providing games and proxys on "a domain your sysadmin wont look at". We have experienced a large growth of interest in the site from several schools and a portion of singular users. My last host shut down the site because they claimed that the two proxys held on-site (CGIProxy and PHProxy) caused the server resources to hit 98%. I dont believe this claim, however I am not going back to them simply because they didnt even give me a notification that my site had been shut down (I was out of state for a funeral when they did and only had enough time to check my email once a day, if that). I am interested in using Freepgs as my host simply because they provide large ammounts of bandwidth and a good ammount of space for my needs. However, I need to know if my site will provide too much strain on the server and cause my account to be cancelled. I plan on increasing the selection of flash games I have also, however I try to keep the size small on them.
