Post by: sh33zo on March 18, 2006, 05:30:38 PM
Could it be possible to change the  Open basedir:      /var/www/vhosts/musakk.net/httpdocs:/tmp
to  Open basedir:      /var/www/vhosts/musakknet/httpdocs:/tmp <---- without the dot in (musakk.net)???
I beleive its causing a problem with joomla.
??! possible or not?
please let me know.
Thank you,
Sh33zo ???

There is very little chance that Plesk offers such a feature. A dot in the path is not a rare situation, so Joomla should handle it properly.

If you are sure that it is the source of your problems, you can move your website back to the main server. You can always ask for migration instructions here.

Be sure you have the path properly set within the Joomla config/db.

The path to your files is /var/www/vhosts/<domain>/httpdocs
Just changing the open_basedir restriction will not help, as your actual path has a dot in it.  (It still will not be able to read files if it is trying to look in the wrong place for them)
