I restored my mambo web site. Now I get the error message "open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/drive2/fpgshttpd/bernschneider/version.php) is not within the allowed path(s):"
phpinfo sasy "open_basedir /tmp/:/fpgs/fpgshttpd/bernschneider/:/fpgs/fpgslogs/41019/:/usr/share/pear/ no value"

I believe that the path you set in the mambo configuration might be incorrect.
/drive2/fpgshttpd/[username]/ seems to be the path on the previous server. I would recommend you to try this path instead : /fpgs/fpgshttpd/bernschneider/
Ýour tip was right. Mambo now is up again and working.
