You have to upload to your httpdocs directory...

If you find plesk somewhat new and confusing, you can also use net2ftp which is the exact ftp online file manager Freepgs used before the fire, so it should look and feel familiar.

Go to net2ftp.com

And
for FTP server simply use plesk.lvcs.net
for port, leave it at 21

Username Enter your freepgs username
Password  And your freepgs password

You should tick Passive mode
In Initial director you should type in /httpdocs which will take you automatically to the corect folder where you can build and upload your files

Leave the rest a lone.

Well I don't think there is one, thats probably the reason ehy only domain based accounts are on the plesk system.. however this should work:

https://plesk.lvcs.net:8443/sitepreview/http/domain_name/?previous_page=dom_ctrl

Example:
https://plesk.lvcs.net:8443/sitepreview/http/scorpionsoftware.org/?previous_page=dom_ctrl

You can reinstate the account with the domain name by posting in the Freepgs Reinstate forum.

Your data will be lost, but you will be able to get yuor account back and upload your files and whatnot.

For your other account (newtract) you will have to wait a few weeks before you can setup that account.

Well I would modify the nameservers first, and then PM the admin to discuss adding your domain. This way you won't have to wait for your domain to be transfered really, because by the time the admin adds it, the nameservers should be pointed correctly already.

You need a domain that can actually point itself to DNS nameservers or to an ip address,

something like the free .tk domains or a short url service like co.nr will NOT work with the plesk server.

Quite simply there is no real place to forward the domain to, you need to point your domain to the new name servers and it will set itself up correctly to open your webpage.

It works for me.. you must be patient though, the DNS records are updated via your ISP and for some users it may take longer before your site is viewable. Rest assured you should be able to view it in less than 20 hours.

You can also use anonymouse.org to see if you can access your site < this will use another ISP located in europe to access any site you wish and transfer it to you. So even though you can not view your site yet, you could use anonymouse temporarily.

The DNS records are ISP based meaning for people in different places in the world on different Internet Service Providers will take a longer or shorter time to update and redirect your site..

Its very possible for example your next door neighbor can access your site, but you won't be able to for another few hours.

You can rest assured that everyone will be able to access it in 24-38 hours. Some may have access in as little as 15 mins, others take much longer, it all depends how long before your ISP updates.

I can tell you from first hand experience that two friends of mine, one in europe and the other in the US could access my site, and I in Canada could not, shortly after in about 2 hours or so I was able to access my site.

Be patient.

First step is to reinstate your account, you can do so in the freepgs or lvcs reinstatement forums.

Once your account is reinstated you will be able to upload files and whatnot

Then you must point your domain to the new nameservers so It actually goes to your website.
You will need to go login with your domain registrar and update the nameservers to

plsk1.lvcs.net
and
plsk2.lvcs.net
