It might be better to ask help from the Help Desk link at your Plesk Panel Account, the Help Desk link is located at the menu at the bottom part.

You will not have problem if you change your domain, just redirect your old domain to the new one. But the only problem is if you have placed your old domain link on your pages of your site, life for example Home instead of Home for changing domain...

I think this topic may help you:
http://forum.freepgs.com/index.php?topic=1859.msg9308#msg9308

Just change your nameserver on the specified topic in which plesk server you are hosted.

Support Requests / Re: Can't FTP Files

It seems you are connecting to another port from the default FTP port, you should check the configurations of your FTP client or try another FTP client.

Edit:
As what I found out, WinSCP clients are having problems connecting to FTP. So, you should better try other FTP clients.

Support Requests / Re: current nameserver
August 21, 2008, 03:59:11 AM
Here is what I got:

If you login via plesk4.lvcs.net:8443 then your nameserver should be
PLSK5.LVCS.NET
PLSK6.LVCS.NET

If you login via plesk.lvcs.net:8443 then your nameserver should be
PLSK1.LVCS.NET
PLSK2.LVCS.NET

Maybe someone from the staff or the admin should post the topic about the nameservers and sticky it.

It seems that plesk.lvcs.net is having problems recently, but not my other site hosted on plesk.lvcs.net server, my 2nd site is still running smooth even if the plesk is down.

As what the admin said recently after the announcement of shutting down the FreePgs service, mysql5.freepgs.com will stay as it is, only the FreePgs server is being shutdown.

For the error you receive you should send a ticket via the Help Desk inside Plesk CP.

It means you haven't set your ftp account password, its different from your account password or maybe you mistyped it.

Go to "Your Domain" then choose "Setup" under Hosting. Then change your FTP under "Account Preferences".

I mean you need to add your FreePgs url as your domain. Then request your FreePgs URL (username.freepgs.com) to be added via the Helpdesk inside plesk cp

If your in a hurry you will use username.plesk4.freepgs.com as a temporary url. If you really want your FreePgs url username.freepgs.com, you will need to add the domain in your account then request your FreePgs URL to be added via the Helpdesk inside plesk cp.

Support Requests / Re: Very confused by Plesk migration.
February 17, 2008, 12:01:08 AM
First of all, you should request to migrate your account over Plesk via the contact form at FreePgs CP.

After the admin or any staff migrated your account over Plesk, then thats the time you request for your FreePgs subdomain to your Plesk account.

Please read the Migration FAQ's for more info:
