Yesterday, I posted a new topic about email problems with my phpBB forum in "General Discussion". Several other users replied that they were having similar email problems. I realize now I should have posted it in "Support Requests".

I have a pphlogger account and it appears the email notifications after XX hits are not being sent either.

I'm having similar problems on Plesk. Users aren't recieving activation emails. It says the mail function has been disabled for security reasons?

Same here. I get the error often actually, when the server is up. My board only has maybe 600 posts per day and this is getting old.

I have the same problem. It hasn't been working since at least 30th June 08:00AM GMT when I got my last e-mail sent via freepgs.

The mail server (sendmail) had some permission problems.

These permissions have been corrected.  All mail should be flowing normally at this time.

Some emails are still not getting sent on my site --- not sure what all but I've been notified there's no emails for registration activation, password changes, etc. Occasionally they do, usually they don't. :(

If users signup with an aol.com or cs.com address, they will not receive anything, as AOL has blocked this server due to the massive amount of spam this server sends.  (Other ISPs are most likely blocking this server as well)

OH NO! Is there any way we can recitify this situation? Unsolicited messages are against TOS aren't they?
